Within mentoring, feedback is the process where details are provided on how the mentee has performed and their progress to date. It also involves giving responses to any ideas or suggestions put forward by the individual.
Information may be collected from a variety of sources eg line manager, colleagues. Whenever feedback is given it must be objective and it must be made explicit that the mentee has the right to query any points raised.
